Santa's bag-whiplash
This blog is usually only written in italian, but as I like so much the entries on Whipup and just desired to enter one of their Whiplash competitions, I decided to post (again) my santa bag with english instructions and try and entering the competition.
So, here we go:
the original design comes from one of the Art to heart booklets, Santa has got a nice little bell on his hat, and obviously Rudolph has his red nose (why can't we ever put one of the other reindeers??).
The funny thing was that after finishing it I realized I forgot to embroider the reins! So we decided Rudolph managed to escape and it was too late to try and tie him up again...let's hope Santa manages to reach the houses even without him!
here's a photo of the front, you can just see the small blinking lights!!!
And last photo, with the lights on!
I had so much fun making this bag, it was a gift for my sister and she loved it, and is now so sad that she has to put it away with all the rest of the christmas stuff.
The pattern for the bag was taken from Silver seams (thanks!!) with some adjustments. The only real problem was figuring out where to place the lights and the battery pack.
Here it is, I really hope everything is ok with my first Whiplash entry (I'm sooooo excited)!!!!

Complimenti ancora!
