Borsa Rana Frog bag

Sono riuscita a ultimarla (a tempo di record) per consegnarla a Isabella giovedì sera. E' in peluches verde acido (preso come scapolo dall'Emporio Istriano), con interno rosa a righe (poco ranocchioso, e dovrei essere io la prima a lamentarmene!). Gli occhioni sono in feltro applicati col punto cordoncino. La coccinella funge da chiusura, la lingua forse è un pò troppo grossa ma andrebbe girata intorno alla coccinella col doppio scopo di chiudere la borsa facendo uno spuntino!

I managed to stitch it in time for the meeting thursday night, so I could give it right away to Isabella. I used green plush (I bought a small cut in the "Emporio Istriano"), and the lining is striped pink (not particularly froggish I should admit, and I should be the first one to protest... I study frogs!). The eyes are made of felt and are tacked down with satin stitch. The ladybug button has a double use: the long tongue (maybe a bit too thick) can be wrapped around the button to close the bag...and serve as a snack for the frog!
